One thing that comes up on places like the KotakuInAction reddit is that if feminists keep saying that the video game and tech industries are hostile to women, women will avoid them.  That makes sense because why would anyone go to a place that they believed was hostile to them if they had a choice.  Feminists keep saying that they want “diversity” in tech and video games, yet lying about nonexistent hostility to women gets the opposite of what they want.  Therefore, feminists must want something else.

What do feminists want from the tech industry?  This article illuminates what feminists really want.  First, take a look at this paragraph from the article:

Trying to force women back into a toxic environment isn’t going to work if the dynamics of the industry remain the same. And women are smart for leaving- because they aren’t giving up, they are moving to other industries that treat them better.

The author says that women should leave tech because it’s hostile to them.  Now, take a look at another part of the article:

It is time for the next wave, and it has to be focused on men. We need gender diversity workshops, sensitivity training, sexual harassment workshops for CEOs, VCs and Angels.

Conference and panel organizers who “can’t find” diverse panel members should be fired. Point blank.

VC’s who “can’t find” women entrepreneurs are not good at deal flow and their investors should pull out. Point Blank.

So if women are correctly avoiding tech because of its alleged hostility to women, then how are conference organizers supposed to find women for conferences, and how are venture capitalists supposed to find women entrepreneurs?  You can’t have women choosing to avoid an industry and have that industry be able successfully find women.  It’s logically impossible.

The author’s demand when the tech industry can’t satisfy her contradiction is that men get fired.  “Point blank”, as she says.  That is what the women in tech movement is all about.  It’s not about ending hostility towards women in the tech industry because even they know it doesn’t exist.  It is about getting men fired, so that they can take the jobs of the fired men.  Of course, that strategy won’t work since getting large numbers of men fired from the tech industry will cause the businesses they employed at to collapse.  There will not be any jobs for men or women since they will be gone.  I suspect that feminists won’t be bothered by that since they got to stick it to men they find nerdy and unattractive.

  1. but if women want into this industry (where a lot of money and status is, natch) they consider hostile, why don’t they make their own company?

what, aren’t they capable of taking risks or something? it’s not like they’re all incapable children, mewling on a rug.

  2. What a hate-filled wench. Men leave tech all the time and nobody cares. They get passed over, fired, and unjustly terminated. In her world though only women suffer job setbacks or difficult coworkers.

She can’t make it in tech so she is demanding these re-education initiatives to make a buck as a tech SJW. What CEO or VC would put up with it and what authority does she have to enforce her demands? It would be death to entrepreneurship.

  3. VC’s who “can’t find” women entrepreneurs are not good at deal flow and their investors should pull out. Point Blank.

The arrogance is astounding. SHE knows better how deal flow is to be done, rather than the professional himself. This is an even bigger ‘entitlement princess’ than either of the two candidates in the most recent poll.

  4. It is amazing that they think ‘tech’ is only products that women use (social media and smartphones) and that the industry will exist without men, as if it were some natural resource that was present for millions of years.

    • Even when it comes to something like smartphones, women still don’t get the work that goes into it. That’s true for the hardware and software, but more so for the infrastructure. Women don’t get how there is a massive network of cell phone towers just to make sure they always have a connection. Cell phone networks require continual maintenance, and that work is done by men.

With most other technologies, women’s understanding of them is even less than that.

  5. All the comments in that article are a circle-jerk of agreement (with manginas representing a large portion). It is not open commenting for others (like us), from what I can tell.

  6. Women want in on male only spaces because men represent to women an unlimited supply of forced wealth transfer (MARXISM)! In short, women see men as just a bunch of easy suckers.

The tech industry would never have been successful without men. Women only want in so that they can levy false rape, sexual assault, abuse and harassment claims – which are now really the single woman’s equivalent of the divorce payout! Get it? Fewer men marrying = need for new avenues of forcing wealth transfer from men to women. It’s all so simple!

Why are women demanding more access to male only spaces like fraternities and men’s bathrooms given “rape culture”? Because women use proximity to manipulate and destroy their targets and to extract wealth from naive men – hence false rape, sexual assault, abuse and harassment claims.

MGTOW => Men not stupid enough to sign the most life destroying, anti-male, misandric, gynocentric contract ever written.

    • I wish I remembered where I read it, but five or six years ago, one of the comments of an article discussing the marriage rate, a man(surely, a man) said that if the mgtow mindset ever took hold, cutting off the resources for a large enough number of women, women would turn increasingly to lawsuits to gain resources. That man was a visionary, because such lawsuits weren’t as visible, or common, as they are today, and will be tomorrow.

  7. The tech industry would never have been successful without men.

That is an understatement. Men have produced all of human progress to date, and tech is where the latest progress is ongoing.

Women hate tech because it is where money appears in the hands of men they don’t find attractive. This messes with their natural hardwiring (which was built for an age where money accrued to men who were the most violent/thuggish). The female brain has just not evolved to the new economic principles.

Remember that the hatred women have for tech men is identical to how women write love letters to serial killers. In the old days, the serial killer was the warlord, while the tech nerd was a weak beta who died easily.

Men not stupid enough to sign the most life destroying, anti-male, misandric, gynocentric contract ever written.

You mean marriage? Marriage ‘worked’ as long as gender roles were followed under male headship (see every successful society ever created).

    • “You mean marriage? Marriage ‘worked’ as long as gender roles were followed under male headship (see every successful society ever created).”

Sorry brah. The marriage contract is a man-eater. In its place needs to be a contract that far better protects men’s interests. Those male interests were removed with the advent of no-fault divorce. There’s no way in Hades women will give up all of the life destroying advantages they have over men through no-fault (castrate) divorce.

Only patently stupid men get married anymore. You sound like their leader.

      • You sound like their leader.

Um…. I said male headship was essential, and feminism has removed that, yet you claim I am totally pro-marriage 2.0.

Are you retarded? Sure seems like it.

        • In defense of Tim, marriage has always been something that was in favor of the female and ultimately society but not really the individual male.

Even in the supposed ‘good old days’, husbands were required to take responsibility for their wives bad behavior up to and including breaking the law. A man was legally forced to pay any debts his wife might have, and despite no fault divorce, gynocentrism was still strong and it was not common for men to get custody of children in disputes. Even then, women were regarded as the more appropriate guardian in the case of separation. Naturally, in the inverse of these situations nothing was required of the woman. This held true even if she were wealthier than her husband.

And the less said about the lose-lose situation of a man getting beaten by his wife vice versa the better.

  8. So someone here has to go to the original article (not the archived one) and post this article in Sarah Nadav’s comment section. How else will she know what is written about her?

  9. A brief glance at Sarah Nadav’s LinkedIn and Facebook profiles indicates that she is over 40, and does not have a man. None of her FB photos have a man in them :

  10. “There will not be any jobs for men or women since they will be gone. I suspect that feminists won’t be bothered by that since they got to stick it to men they find nerdy and unattractive.”

You’re half right. The ones who remember there used to be a tech industry will remember men escaping with their lives as punishing women. The ones who don’t remember there used to be a tech industry won’t be bothered to do research about it because they find it boring.

The author is right about one thing. Women in tech will continue to be treated poorly. Feminists cause a backlash in two major ways. 1) Affirmative Action hiring programs ensure that a disproportionate number of the women available can’t do the work. 2) Search and destroy programs (a la Linus Torvalds, Julian Assange, and others) ensure that powerful and talented men shy away from women in tech as a security precaution.

Feminist created backlash against women is a feature, not a bug. It creates a reason for the feminists to go in and do some more tinkering. This is similar to political weapons used by government branches against each other (flood insurance laws come to mind here). Vox Day has the objectively correct approach. Identify the SJW entryists and purge them with extreme prejudice.

  11. […] As we know, the women in tech movement seeks to remove as many men as possible from the tech industr…  And part of that is targeting Indian men and Asian men working in tech.  Many Asian and Indian men who work in tech are immigrants.  Now, there is a new angle in targeting Asian and Indian immigrants working in tech, using the fact that some visas require their wives to not work.
