At the Good Mangina Project, a mangina is lamenting that some woman ended up in jail for two days (and died there) since she was fined for failing to stop her kids’ truancy from school. This woman was imprisoned after four years of non-payment. The Good Mangina Project would have us believe that this is some sort of travesty and example of tyranny.
To that I ask, what about all of the fathers sitting in jail right now since courts ordered them to pay child support those fathers could not afford? There is at least 50000 people, guaranteed to be nearly all men, sitting in jail on any particular day because courts ordered them to pay child support they could never afford. That is a real example of a debtors’ prison, but you will never hear about at The Good Mangina Project. Instead they scrape the barrel for some example of a woman being sent to jail for failing to pay a minor fine. It’s just another example of how The Good Mangina Project is about anything but men.
