I have been following Dalrock’s posts about the Costa Concordia disaster. From there, I found a link to this where a socon/tradcon/conservative female supremacist name Sheila Gregoire was wailing about how men weren’t committing a female supremacist form of seppuku for the benefit of women. What I mean by a “female supremacist form of seppuku for the benefit of women” is the idea of “women and children first” where men should die for the benefit of women. It’s similar to seppuku because seppuku was a way for samurai to die “with honor” and because female supremacists like Sheila Gregoire think it’s dishonorable for men to save themselves from a sinking ship. To her and other female supremacists, this is “dishonorable” so the only way for men to save their honor in their eyes is to willingly die on the ship which is ritualistically committing suicide for women.
If that doesn’t convince you that “women and children first” is feminist/female supremacist, then the next sentence will. Women and Children First is the name of a feminist bookstore in Chicago. If “women and children first” wasn’t a feminist idea, then it wouldn’t be the name of a feminist bookstore. (There aren’t any feminist bookstores named, “Men Are Really Great” after all.) The only more feminist name for a bookstore would be, “Women and Women First” which is the name of the feminist bookstore in Portlandia.

But, the question it’s self is easily enough answered.
There are basically three points of differentiation between the female supremacists/gynocentrists who’ve aligned themselves on the two sides of the socio-political divide. First, and foremost, there is the issue of abortion. Secondly, there is the issue of homosexuality/lesbianism and same-sex marriage. And, third, there are some differences on the perception of what the role of government should be. Bit, this is merely a difference in how they believe government should go about the business of serving women’s interests.
Beyond these three primary areas of differentiation, beyond all the posturing and protestation, the two “opposing” feminist camps basically agree on most everything else.
Incidents like the whining about the lack of WACF in regards to the Costa Concordia disaster Costa Concordia disaster serve to elucidate such actual agreement. They might claim different justifications, but both come down to a desire to see “women first” policy enforced (Oh yeah, and children too….secondly).
These are the only differences between liberal and conservative feminists. Initially as I read this, I thought there might be a fourth difference, what form of slut they choose to be. Serial LTR sluts on the right vs. one night stand sluts on the left. However, that isn’t even a difference. There are a lot of liberal feminists who choose to be serial LTR sluts. In many cases whether a woman ends up as a serial LTR slut vs. a ONS slut is really a matter of whether a guy she bangs decides to continue banging her. In other words, this isn’t even a difference. That’s how close liberal and conservative feminists are.
