One of the blogs at the Washington Post was talking about Scott Adams’ trouble with feminists, and that post linked to this blog.

  1. It’s fascinating, isn’t it? Adams and Ball are the most recent catalysts, but more and more attention is being directed towards the Men’s Rights movement.

    I say it’s a good thing. Most of the assumptions and poor logic that underly feminism can’t stand up to public scrutiny. And the consequences of feminist ideology in the real world looks even less pleasant when someone shines a light upon it.

    Marcotte and other feminists may blather on that what men’s rights activists really need is “more feminism”. However, Marcotte also recently conceded that maybe sending men to jail under felony convictions for nonpayment of child support is not great policy. (she was lambasted at her site for this view by the more cunty feminists). It’s clear that Marcotte would never have made that concession without the noise that the growing MRM is making.

    The more the MRM fights to expose these issues, the more ridiculous the MSM looks in contorting the narrative to give them a feminist spin, and the more the hypocrisies and injustices are exposed.

  2. PM/AFT,

    Congratulations on the link. As Peter mentioned, there are a lot of Men’s sites that are getting more and more mainstream notice. You, Paul Elam, ours (sorry for the self promotion), and others.

    @Peter,

    Marcotte seems to be doing a bit of back pedaling after her noxious comment about Thomas Ball over on that idiot Futrelle’s site, in which she claimed that Ball only set himself on fire as an act of abuse toward his ex. She’s a disgusting bigot (not that we didn’t already know that).

  3. @PMAFT & E. Steven Berkimer,

    Congrats,I think.

    Someone once said any publicity is good publicity, but I don’t think that guy was an MRA.

    Any success you guys reap is well-deserved and any bullshit you catch, well, we’ve (the “MRM”) got your back. We always take care of our own.

    Thank you all so much for doing what you do. I know it isn’t easy, and it really means a lot to me.

    • I agree that it’s highly unlikely that guy is an MRA. In fact the link to this blog could be a coincidence. Although given that Adams reinstated the post in question and that there are plenty of other places on the internet with that post without MRM ideas, it isn’t a small coincidence.

  4. Congrats PMAFT, your blog is making some fucking waves!
